I hope you are all well and working hard at home!
The weather hasn't been that great this week so you probably haven't been able to play outside.
Many thanks to the children who sent in their virtual sports day videos and photographs both myself and the children in Bubble 3 greatly enjoyed watching them. If you want to have a look visit our class page on the school website.
This week our mini-beast theme is spiders and we have 3 great books for you to look at.
Our maths topic is sharing - you can complete lots of practical activities at home eg sharing sweets, biscuits, toys - but make sure they are shared fairly ie everyone has to have the same amount!
We are all missing you at school and can't wait to see you again.

I hope you have had a nice week and enjoyed the sunshine.
It doesn't look like the weather is going to be very nice this week - but it should be dry for our 'sports day' on Tuesday. Please send in your photographs - we will be completing lots of different activities in my Bubble 3 and I will put the photographs on our class page. I wonder what activities you will complete - I can't wait to see your photographs.

I hope you had a nice week and enjoyed all the Superworm activities.
This week we are looking at the books
What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson and
The Bad -tempered Ladybird by Eric Carle - this is our focus for this week's maths lessons on time.
There are lots of different activities for you to look at.
Please send me photographs of your work as a really like looking at how you are progressing - I am very proud of you.
Don't forget another certificate will be awarded this week.

Hello Reception I hope you all enjoyed completing the activities about The Very Hungry Caterpillar - we did at school in my Bubble 3.

Week Beginning 4th May
Hope you enjoyed completing the Jack and the Beanstalk activities last week.
Don't forget to send in you photographs and I'll add them to our new Home Learning Photographs section on or class page.
This week our activities will focus on the giant.

Hello Reception I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine last week.
This week you activities will be about Jack and. the Beanstalk.
You might have the story at home - get a grown up to read it to you - don't forget to use lots of actions!
If not here is a link to You Tube where you can listen to the story.
Jack and the Beanstalk Literacy activities.
Draw a picture of Jack and describe him.
Draw a picture of your favourite part and write a sentence.
Draw a story map or story mountain - draw pictures in the correct order and write what happened.
You may have received a text message about Google Classroom.
Google Classroom is a platform that I will be adding work in the coming weeks.
I will not be setting dates for the work to be completed as I can imagine what it is like at home. Do them when it is best for your family.
1) Search for Google Classroom online, on the APP store or on Google Play.
2) Download the APP
3) Login using a Google Account
4) Add our class using the code that has been texted to your phone
5) Complete the activities or tasks set.

In EYFS we need to develop 5 Fundamental Movement Skills. These skills are - running, jumping, hopping, catching and throwing.
