Welcome to Year 3!

Welcome to Year 3. In Year 3, the teachers are Mr Hargreaves, Miss Archer and Miss Clemson. 

This is our virtual learning environment! On our class page we will share our exciting learning experiences throughout the year.
This is where we will share our achievements and celebrate our successes, as well as keeping you up to date with what has been happening in our class. 

Thank you to all parents for your continued support with your child's reading and homework- we really do appreciate it!

 

Good morning Year 3,

I hope that you are all safe and well. Thank you to everyone that is completing their home learning, there are certainly a lot of resilient rhinos and persevering penguins in year 3. Remember to upload your images of your children's work to the google classroom page or if you are struggling to upload your children's work or have any queries regarding your children's work then you can e-mail me at : mr.hargreaves@st-john-augustine.lancs.sch.uk. Remember that I will be choosing a 'Home Learner of the Week' and will place a certificate on the webpage each Friday morning so that all of Year 3 can celebrate the chosen child. Please remember that new home learning tasks will be placed on the  google classroom and class web page each week.

Hello Year 3,

I hope that you are all safe and well. I have set a variety of fun learning activities for you to be working through this week. I hope that you all had a safe and peaceful half term. I am missing you all. I have put all of the activities on the class web page below and have also set the activities on the Google classroom page. Remember that I will be choosing a 'Home Learner of the Week' who will be revealed on Friday. Please continue to be resilient rhinos and persevering penguins with all of your distant learning. RE- Footprints poem activity. Read the poem and write your own footprints poem based on Jesus leaving the tomb and seeing his family and friends again.

Home Learning Activities: Week Commencing 20th April

Marvellous maths- Continue to develop your marvellous maths work by downloading this maths activity booklet. There are lots of fun maths activities included in this booklet.

Fantastic French- We were about to learn the names of our body parts in French. Complete the powerpoint on twinkl (the file is too large to place on the website) and complete the attached sheets. Tres Bien, Year 3!
