General Information
PE Days:
Monday (am) and Wednesday (pm)
Reading:
Please read with your child each evening. Sign their book once this is completed.
Homework:
Homework will be given out on a Thursday and will need to be returned by the following Thursday.
It will consist of arithmetic (4 operations, fractions, decimals and percentages), SPaG, and reading comprehension.
Attendance and Punctuality:
Please ensure your child is at school on time. Our door opens at 8:50am. During the first 15 minutes of school, the children complete morning activites and have targetted intervention so punctuality is vital. Missing just 5 minutes a day adds up to around 200 minute a half term (3 hours 20 minutes). That is half a day of learning.
Revision and Practice:
Times tables are key to good learning in maths. Please ensure your child is learning this in addition to homework if they do not know these.
