We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated class teacher to join our hardworking, caring team at this successful primary school. We are looking for a Year 6 teacher who:

  • has experience of teaching Key Stage 2 with good knowledge of expectations of end of Key Stage 2 Statutory Assessments
  • is creative and motivated and is committed to high standards for all children
  • is able to demonstrate that they are a highly effective classroom practitioner
  • has excellent behaviour management skills
  • has good interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a team.
  • has a good understanding of Safeguarding procedures

Essential Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Training

Desirable Qualifications

Essential Experience

  • Key Stage 2 teaching experience.
  • Carrying out mid-year and end of year assessments for Key Stage 2 tests.
  • Having experience of leading a core subject.

Desirable Experience

  • Has extensive experience of teaching within Year 5 or 6.
